Making jerky and dog treats is so easy with my Nesco 4-Level dehydrator. I just prep the meat, put it on the trays, and come back 8 hours later to perfectly dehydrated food. What I particularly appreciate about this dehydrator is that it doesn’t take up a lot of storage space. I’m able to tuck it away in a cabinet when it’s not in use. The trays also fit in the dishwasher, which is handy because they get pretty messy when I’m making doggie crack. I’ve had my dehydrator for 4 years, and use it a lot. It works like a charm, evenly heating the food every time.
Incidentally, it works well for fruit, granola, and other raw foods. I recommend buying the accessory trays if you plan on making granola…they are a big help.
