When it comes to cooking venison, you can’t have enough good venison casserole recipes and meatloaf recipes—the kids love them, they’re easy, and if you’re lucky you’ll have leftovers. Really, what’s not to love about an entire dinner that cooks in one dish? These venison casserole recipes and meatloaf recipes are all delicious. I’ve made sure to keep these recipes simple. So, for example, if you wanted to use homemade cream of mushroom soup instead of canned, that would be delicious. For the most part, though, I used easy-to-find staple for these recipes.
Venison Casserole Recipes
I grew up in Kansas, which means we ate casseroles all the time. To this day, a good casserole is my comfort food. I developed these venison casserole recipes as a tribute to my heritage, although these days I mostly eat them when my step kids are in town.

Venison Meatloaf Recipes
Meatloaf. Do I need to say more? Meatloaf is a perfect food. It combines all the best of a casserole and a burger and puts into one loaf form. I just love meatloaf. And these recipes are all fantastic. Until I started experimenting with venison meatloaf, I really didn’t know how many variations there are!
