spicy venison burgerSuzanne does it again! This recipe is based on Lamburgers from Suzanne Somers “Eat, Cheat, and Melt the Fat Away.” For the record, I have never made one her recipes that wasn’t out of this world.

Recipe: Spicy Venison Burger


  • 1 lb venison, ground
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp allspice, ground
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped


  1. These are best if you make these in the morning and let them sit all day for spices to mingle, but you don’t have to if you don’t have time. Put all ingredients in a food processor and process until well blended.
  2. Shape into 4 patties and cook on hot grill for five minutes per side, or until they are cooked to your liking. Serve with a slice of red onion and spoonful of sour cream (not included in recipe analysis)
